The Perfect Insider, or Subete ga F ni Naru, has been licensed by anime distributor Sentai Filmworks for a home-video release. The first episode of The Perfect Insider premiered on Thursday via Crunchyroll. The anime is being directed by Elfen Lied’s Mamoru Kanbe at A-1 Pictures (Persona 4), the series composition is done by tsuritama’s Toshiya Ono, Fate/stay night’s Kenji Kawai is composing the anime’s background score and Inio Asano is in charge of the “original character designs.”
Anime News Network’s description of The Perfect Insider’s intriguing plot goes as seen below:
Sōhei Saikawa is a member of the Saikawa Research Lab. He goes on a vacation held by the lab, and Moe Nishinosono, the daughter of his mentor, joins the group on their vacation despite not being a part of the lab. There, the two end up finding a corpse; the two work together to solve the mysteries of what becomes a serial murder case.
The Perfect Insider is based on a 1996-released Japanese mystery novel by Hiroshi Mori called Subete ga F ni Naru (Everything Becomes F). The novel has spawned a manga, a live-action drama series, a visual novel and now an anime. The plot has certainly piqued my curiosity and I’ll definitely be checking this fall series out!
