Yen Press To Release ‘Servant x Service’ Manga In Print

Not only will Karino Takatsu’s Servant x Service be released in print, but Yen Press will also release the quirky comedy in a two-in-one omnibus edition.

Yen Press has officially turned my frown upside down by announcing they will indeed release the Servant x Service manga series in print.

Not only will Karino Takatsu’s Servant x Service be released in print, but Yen Press has decided to release the quirky comedy in a two-in-one omnibus edition. Servant x Service was initially announced as a digital release, but now fans will have the option to choose from print and digital.

The first omnibus (which will contain volumes 1 & 2) is set to release in April 2016.

Servant x Service is a four-panel comedy by Karino Takatsu (the creator of Working!!) that centers on extremely likeable yet odd civil servants.

The manga series was launched in 2011, with the final volume being released in June 2014. Servant x Service was adapted into a 13-episode anime series in 2013 and has been released on Blu-ray/DVD by Aniplex USA.

The underrated comedy is also available on Hulu, which is how I became aware of the extremely hilarious series.

If you have not checked out Servant x Service and you’re a fan of comedic animes similar to Wagnaria (Working!!) or even Monthly Girls Nozaki-Kun, then you need to watch the series as soon as possible! I guarantee you will not regret giving this oddball of a comedy a chance.

For those who did enjoy Servant x Service, keep your eyes peeled for the omnibus next year!
