Seven Dwarfs Mine Train Catches Fire in Walt Disney World

Seven Dwarfs Mine Train ride catches fire because of fireworks show in the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World.

It’s true that the Walt Disney World is a really outstanding place to be; it’s taken straight from a fairytale. However, there’s always some evil in fantastical stories, and this world recently had to face a tragic incident.

Walt Disney World, located in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, saw the well-known Seven Dwarfs’ Mine Train attraction catch fire. According to official information, the fire started by some embers from the firework show over Cinderella’s Castle. As soon as the incident was noticed, the Reedy Creek Fire Department didn’t miss time and put it out quickly. A statement from the team regarding the fire reads:

“We believe fireworks fell from the Magic Kingdom fireworks show and the ash landed at the top of the attraction, catching the fake grass on fire. The fire was contained to just the grass and did not get into the building or structure.”

Thankfully, no one was hurt in the small fire in the landscaping of the attraction. In addition to that, no damage was done to the roller coaster, and it was opened again later during the same day.
