Shakira and Rihanna fans may want to take a seat before reading.
The ladies teamed up for a very sexy music video for the song “Can’t Remember to Forget You”, which was posted yesterday and has already gained more than 2 million views, according to the NY Daily News.
This song is the first single from Shakira’s new self-titled album.
The steamy video begins with Shakira on a bed, singing about her love mistakes (of course, it can’t be a Shakira video without hip movements!).
Rihanna shows up and things start getting up close and personal on a bed between the women as they’re smoking cigars.
The video was directed by Joseph Kahn, who was also in charge of Mariah Carey and Miguel’s “Beautiful” and Eminem and Rihanna’s “Love the Way You Lie”.
In an interview for February’s edition of Glamour, Shakira spoke about what it was like working with the Barbados singer.
“Working with her was utopia. She’s the sexiest woman on the planet,” Shakira said.
“And at the end of the day, we’re both just basically Caribbean girls. The chemistry was so good and so real. She taught me dance moves. She was a sweet teacher,” she added.
Shakira will be released on March 25.
