We all love an animated hotel. Especially when it caters around the theme of Toy Story.
Currently, Toy Story 4 is being penned, but that is not where this franchise will surely end. Concept art shows the birth of a Toy Story-themed hotel at Shanghai Disneyland which is currently in the works! According to the extremely ambiguous description on the Disney blog, “The Resort’s Toy Story Hotel will transport guests to a world inspired by the toys from the Disney Pixar series of Toy Story animated films.” An illustration is accompanied alongside of the description to give us a peek of what we are to expect.
As of right now, we just have our imagination to take flight on, however what can we expect from this monstrous looking hotel? Perhaps each room will be designed to look like Andy’s? A café serving up monster sized turkey legs for our dinosaur like appetites? A day care wing called Sunnyside that will keep an eye on the kiddos while the parents frolic in Al’s Toy Barn? At this point, there is a vast amount of imagination to play around with and we surely can expect something fantastic and fun for all ages.
There are very few details regarding when construction will take place, so a completion date is not currently set.
All this means is that you have ample time to start saving up for a trip to Shangai to see the hotel for yourself.
