She Came In Like A Wrecking Ball: Betty White Spoofs Miley Cyrus In Promo For Off Their Rockers

Betty White still seems to have that Golden Girl feel after filming a s spoof of Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball” video to promote her show Off Their Rockers. It will move from NBC to the Lifetime Network beginning in 2014.

Now White has put her own humorous spin on one of Cyrus’ “bangerz.”
In the beginning of the clip, White introduces by saying, “I got some ideas from recent pop culture events that really got the kids talking.”
The video shows her riding a wrecking ball in a concrete room but the twist, of course, is that she’s fully clothed. Not only does she mock “Wrecking Ball”, she also does some other of  Cyrus’ accoutrements when she waves a foam finger, as Cyrus did at the VMAs. She also gets her hand on Cyrus’ favorite home-improvement implement.
“Can someone bring me a sledgehammer?” she asks, after which she reappears holding the tool.
Rather than lick it, as the former Disney star might have, White simply gives it a gentle, kiss.

It’s a pretty smart promo nonetheless.
