Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman were spotted filming in Gloucester and looking classically Sherlockian! Freeman was sporting a bowler hat and mustache worthy of any villainous twirl, while Cumberbatch was wearing Sherlock’s iconic deerstalker cap. Amanda Abbington was photographed looking beautiful and wearing a pair of boots that any Steampunk cosplayer would sell her soul to possess. If there is anything we can count on the BBC for, it’s stunning costume designs!
The cast is currently filming the 2015 Christmas special to air with the fourth series. I’m sure I speak for most Sherlock fans when I say it is time for series four; we don’t just want it, we need it. Unfortunately, we still have another year to wait before we get new episodes. Traditionally, Sherlockoffers up a new series every two years so we should expect the new series to air in early 2016 although there were rumors it would be pushed to 2017 due to Cumberbatch’s busy filming schedule.
