It’s the movie trailer we’ve been waiting on for almost seven years. And finally, Veronica Mars’ fans can get a first look at the TV show-turned-film.
The trailer, which first aired on E!News, shows Veronica Mars (Kristen Bell) learning that her ex-boyfriend, Logan Echolls (Jason Dohring), has been accused of murdering his girlfriend. Fans also get a view into Veronica’s new life—as her ten year high school reunion approaches, she is about to be hired by a law firm in New York while living a life with Piz (Chris Lowell). The trailer leaves fans to think: will she throw her new life away for loVe?
Most of the essential Veronica Mars cast returns for the movie—including Ryan Hansen, Krysten Ritter, Percy Daggs III, Tina Majorino, Francis Capra, Ken Marino, and Enrico Colantoni.
The film, which was fan-funded using a Veronica Mars Kickstarter campaign (a campaign that reached its goal of $2 million in 10 hours), will air in select AMC Theatres on Friday, March 14, 2014.
