He’s back and set to star in indie comedy Rock the Kasbah, directed by Barry Levinson. Bill Murray, Bruce Willis, Kate Hudson, Danny McBride, and Zooey Deschanel have also signed on to star in the film.
“I couldn’t have dreamed of a more perfect team of comic actors to round out this wickedly funny and heartfelt film,” Levinson said of the cast.
The movie is about Richie Vance, a rock manager who takes his last client on a USO tour of Afghanistan.  He finds himself abandoned, penniless, and sans passport. He discovers a young girl with wonderful vocal talent, and helps her through Afghan Star, the Afghanistan version of American Idol.
Brain Grazer and Tom Freston will be executive producing and Mitch Glazer wrote the script. Filming is set to start in June.
