Shonda Rhimes is a producer, a writer, and now she can add actress to her list of achievements! Rhimes will be making her acting debut on Fox’s The Mindy Project.
The creator of Grey’s Anatomy and Scandal will be playing herself in an episode slated to appear this fall, but no further details have been revealed.
Rhimes says she is a huge fan of both Mindy Kaling and The Mindy Project, which is scheduled to premiere, for its third season, on Tuesday, Sept. 16 at 9:30.
ABC will launch Shondaland Thursdays the next week with the season premieres of Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal, and How To Get Away With Murder.
