A teaser trailer for the Showtime documentary, Years Of Living Dangerously, has been teasing folks about a subject that’s considered very important: understanding climate change. The teaser says, “It’s about you. It’s about me. It’s about us.”

James Cameron, director of the hit film Avatar, is the executive producer for the eight part documentary. Cameron says in the voiceover “This is biggest story of our time.”

He added that “It will report on the crippling effects of climate change related weather events and the ways individuals, communities, companies and governments are struggling to find solutions to the biggest threat our world has ever faced.”

Many correspondents and journalists like Thomas Friedman, Chris Hayes, and Lesley Stahl have been reporting on this from all around the world. Actors such as Matt Damon, Olivia Munn and Don Cheadle will also share stories from people whose lives have been affected by climate change.

Cameron promised that “we will make it exciting, we will make it investigative. We’ll bring people the truth, and people are always hungry for the truth.”

The Showtime documentary is set to air sometime in April.
