There’s a new take on the life of the King of Rock ‘n Roll in the works, and a legend of rock is set to help produce it: None other than Sir Mick Jagger, himself.

Focusing on Elvis’ early years (from 18-22), and based on Peter Guralnick’s Last Train to Memphis, the film will be directed by Kevin Macdonald, adapted by John Fusco, and Victoria Pearman is set to co-produce it along with Jagger.

Not much is known about the story, other than it will document his rise to super stardom from high-school heartthrob to the King.

Now, the quest has begun to find someone to fill Elvis’ blue suede shoes for this biopic, with FOX 2000 launching the website www.youngelviscasting.com, where young men can submit their auditions to become Mr. Presley. Do you have what it takes or know someone who does?
