Sleepy Hollow Renewed For Season Two

NULL

Sam Maggs

Staff Writer

Fox has surprised Sleepy Hollow fans worldwide (myself included!) by renewing the show for a second season after just three episodes!

The  Sleepy Hollow pilot premiered to over 22 million viewers (that’s a 5.0 rating, a big deal in Neilson numbers for scripted television), making it Fox’s most successful drama premiere since 24 in 2001.

Kevin Reilly, Chairman of Entertainment at Fox, called the series “a risk worth taking,” and said Sleepy Hollow is “a conceptual blast unlike anything else on television.” Reilly added that he “can’t wait for fans to experience what else is in store for this fall and even more of this wild ride into Season Two.”

Sleepy Hollow follows the adventures of a resurrected Ichabod Crane and his modern-day police detective partner, as they try to defend the town of Sleepy Hollow from the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse (and their associated baddies of the week.)

The next episode, “The Lesser Key of Solomon,” will air Monday, October 7th at 9pm ET. Check out the trailer right here!
