If you’re not a fan of snakes, then you might feel uneasy watching the newly released American Horror Story season three promotional video.
At just 28 seconds long, the new promo titled “Slither” shows a woman with her mouth wide open as a large snake makes its way through and enters inside her body. Once fully consumed, the woman closes her mouth and lets out a smile of satisfaction.
If the new promo means anything, it’s that snakes are likely to be a recurring fiend in the upcoming installment of Ryan Murphy’s FX series.
Although Murphy is staying hush about major details, the third installment’s subtitle of “Coven” suggests that witchcraft will play a major role.
American Horror Story: Coven premieres on October 9 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on FX.
