Snoop Dogg Takes National Distribution of ‘INDOGGO®’ Gin to Next Level With Hot Dogs

In 2020, entertainment icon and hip-hop rapper Snoop Dogg announced his latest venture, releasing his own gin, called INDOGGO® Gin, a certified gluten free gin, which hit shelves across the nation in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Distilled five times with seven premium botanicals infused with all-natural strawberry flavor with no added sugar, INDOGGO® Gin is crafted with what the company describes as a “laid-back California style.”

For gin lovers, the product is fairly light on the juniper flavor and features orange, coriander and cassia botanicals for a taste of strawberry and citrus with a slightly sweet and fruity finish.

“I am thrilled to bring the refreshing and smooth taste of INDOGGO® Gin to people across the country,” said Snoop Dogg. “This laid-back, California style gin is something light, fruity, and slightly sweet that anyone can sip on and goes great with Lemonade.”

In partnership with Keenan Towns and Marc Weisberg, the co-founders of Trusted Spirits and in partnership with Prestige Beverage Group, the entertainment icon expressed great support for what he considers to be a nationwide success.

Trusted Spirits is the first and only beverage supplier which develops and markets wine and spirits brands, solely in partnership with highly relevant celebrity co-owners. Prestige Beverage Group is an industry leading importer and brand owner of award-winning wines and spirits from around the globe, with a portfolio of 70-plus brands including Windsor Canadian, Kinky Beverages, Risata Wines, Joia Spirit and now, INDOGGO® Gin.

“I am so proud and humbled by the response INDOGGO® has received since its introduction,” said Snoop Dogg. “I knew that we had created a great tasting, smooth gin, but to see the response on social media, and get the stamp of approval from my friend Martha Stewart – I knew we had a winner!”

Right now, Snoop, whose real name is Calvin Broadus, already sells gin, cannabis, cookbooks, and hopefully soon, hot dogs.

Earlier this week, the rapper announced that he is planning on launching his own brand of frankfurters called “Snoop Doggs,” according to recent legal filings at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

According to Snoops’ legal team, the intent-to-use trademark application was filed with the USPTO back in December for federal registration on the mark “Snoop Doggs,” stating his intentions to use the mark for hot dogs and other types of sausage. In other words, the brand has not yet launched, hence the filing of the intent-to-use application.

Ironically, Snoop’s announcement comes as a bit of a surprise following his 2016 appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! where he watched a step-by-step process of how hot dogs are made, declaring his lack of interest in ever eating and/or associating with them:

“This is a hot dog!? Oh cuz, I ain’t never eating a m*****f****** hot dog! If that’s how they make hot dogs, I don’t want one. I’m good.”
