With less than 3 weeks until we finally get to see “The Day of The Doctor” it appears the story will not end once the credits roll on November 23rd.
On Friday, November 1st, The British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) cleared a 6 minute segment entitled “The Night of The Doctor” which will star Matt Smith and David Tennant. The details on the BBFC website have the mini episode classified as additional material for the distributor 2 entertain video Ltd.
On October 30, they also cleared an even shorter mini episode with the name “The Last Day“. As with the “The Night of The Doctor” it is classified as additional material for “The Day of the Doctor”. No cast details were listed on the website.
Who knows what these minisodes will add to the 50th anniversary episode which stars David Tennant and Matt Smith, or when we will get to see it, however I would take a stab in the dark that these will be Bonus Features for the DVD and Blu Ray. According to Amazon UK, the UK will be able to get the DVD/Blu Ray from December 2nd, and Amazon tell us that US Whovians will get hold of it from December 10th.
The closer we get to “The Day of the Doctor” the more excited we get. 20 days and counting Popstars.
