David Chase, the man who created the crime mob drama The Sopranos, has refused to answer the question about Tony Soprano’s fate for seven years. However, today (Wed., Aug. 27), at Vox, writer Martha P. Nochimson shared the long- awaited secret.
Apparently during a recent visit to a coffee shop, Nochimson asked Chase if Tony Soprano had died or not. His answer?
“No. No [Tony Soprano] isn’t [dead].” Cue spitting out coffee gif. What?!?!
http://giphy.comWell, Sopranos fans can now rest easy knowing that Tony is alive and well. Maybe now that we all know we should also call our cable companies and apologize to them when we thought our cable went out all those years ago.
