Spencer Sutherland Drops “Indigo” EP

Spencer Sutherland, a unique and talented force to be reckoned with in pop music. Though his name or music may not ring a bell (yet), he’s pushing through and making sure that his unique style is heard and enjoyed. Spencer has released a collection of tracks over the years that we have all loved, toured with amazing artists like Jack and Jack, etc. However, he has just dropped his full EP, “Indigo” – which, we are truly obsessed with.

Additionally to the epic music he has put out over the last few years, Spencer has also landed a role in “Afterlife of the Party” with Midori Francis and Victoria Justice. Spencer will not only co-star, but he’s also going to be writing some original music for the film!

One of our personal favorites of his releases, “Wonder”, a track that is also on the EP but was previously released as a single. “Wonder” is an ode to frazzled & confusing thoughts; an insight into Sutherland’s creative mind as he questions himself and tries to find the answers he desperately seeks. “Wonder is a very honest song that encapsulates overthinking. All the lyrics are asking questions internally, and these are the exact questions I ask myself — “I wonder if I’m still myself, cause lately I’m acting like someone else.” The track builds throughout the song with Sutherland guiding us with his sky-soaring vocals, perfectly demonstrating the variety of soulful pitches he can reach.

Following the release of his debut EP “NONE of this has been about you,” touring tirelessly nationwide supporting Jack & Jack on the “Good Friends Are Nice Tour” and his very own North American headline tour “The Freaking Out Tour,” Spencer Sutherland has been using 2020 to prep for the next chapter of his career. His track “Grateful” followed his debut EP, becoming Sutherland’s fastest streaming song to date, peaking at #1 on Sirius XM’s Venus Station and is rapidly approaching 2.5 million global streams and over 2k radio spins at the Top 40 Format.

Since “Grateful,” Spencer has released his first single in 2020 — “Help,” a confessional song that has accumulated over 550k streams and garnering praise from the likes of American Songwriter and E News. With “Help” and “Too Many Friends,” fans are anticipating the next chapter for Spencer as they eagerly anticipate his next body of work, expected to release later this year

Furthering that success, Spencer has finally brought us a full collection of tracks that he is passionate about. No doubt, after listening to Spencer Sutherland, you’re going to find yourself being so in tune with his raspy, yet soothing, voice and passionate energy. Spencer no doubt, will have you hooked within a listen or two.

“Indigo” the EP from Spencer Sutherland is out now on all major music platforms, worldwide.
