The Marvel Universe is filled with a lot of superheros. In the comics, the heroes would often interact with each other and cooperate at times. But this is not a far stretch, as a lot of them reside within the New York area.
In recent years, we have seen these heroes come to life on the big screen, but for the most part each individuals and teams stayed within their own individual universes. That is until the Marvel Cinematic universe came to life and brought us a range of interconnected films, from Iron Man to Guardians of the Galaxy.
But Marvel fans are still frustrated, as they want to see characters who should have known each other come together. Unfortunately, they are being kept apart, as different studios own the different characters.
Well, fret not! It looks like some studio executives have seen the light, and have tapped into their potential to make even more money. Rumor has it that Marvel Studios, which owns the Avengers franchise, and Sony Pictures which owns the Spiderman franchise, are in talks for a Spiderman/Avengers crossover!
Both companies are in “delicate preliminary conversations” about a joint project, according to the EW
Andrew Garfield, the current star of the Spiderman franchise, has previously expressed enthusiasm for such an idea.“I would love that,” he told Yahoo.“I know that the fans would love that, the fans of the Marvel universe… the more the merrier, the bigger the better.”
