For the second time in three years, SPIDERS (!?) are causing a massive recall for Mazda cars.

The company announced on Friday that some Mazda sedans were attractive to the spiders because they like the smell of gasoline. This causes them to climb into the fuel line, weave their webs, and the webs can cause blocked engine vents. These blocked vents can cause fires, but thus far no fires have been reported.

The cars that are being recalled are Mazda sedan models from 2010 to 2012 that have 2.5-liter engines. At this time, no other Mazda cars are being included in the recall.  Mazda says it plans on contacting owners who have the faulty cars with further instructions.
