Splitsville: Glee’s Jane Lynch and Wife Lara Embry To Divorce!

Three years ago, Jane Lynch, 52, wed psychologist Lara Embry, 44, on Memorial Day in Sunderland, MA, one of only a handful of states that recognize gay marriage. The two met a fundraiser in San Francisco in 2009 where Embry was being honored.

Sadly, the couple has decided to call it quits. People.com reports:

“Lara and I have decided to end our marriage. This has been a difficult decision for us as we care very deeply about one another. We ask for privacy as we deal with this family matter,” Lynch informed People in an exclusive statement.

The couple has no children together, but Embry has a ten-year-old daughter named Haden.
