College students, rejoice! There is now a new way for you to listen to music on Spotify without ads.
Spotify announced, today, their new premium plan that would give college students a special discount so they can enjoy all your favorite music for a new, low price.
The price for the student premium plan is $4.99 + taxes every month. Currently, that is the regular price for their unlimited plan, which only offers ad-free listening.
The new student pricing is also 50% off the original price of $9.99 + taxes for the premium plan which offers offline listening, travel access, and exclusive content.
Students must be enrolled in a college in the United States. The offer lasts for 12 months, but students may choose to re-enroll afterwards for three more years, as long as they are college students.
Current subscribers of Spotify Premium, who are also students, are able to switch into the student premium plan with the new pricing starting in their next payment date.
