After elevator camera footage of a fight between Jay-Z and Solange Knowles was leaked to news sources last week, Standard hotel says it has identified and fired the person responsible.
“The Standard has identified the individual responsible for breaching the security policies of the hotel and recording the confidential CCTV video released by TMZ,” said Brian Phillips, a spokesman for the hotel.
“The Standard has already terminated the individual and will now be pursuing all available civil and criminal remedies.”
In the statement, Phillips also adds that the hotel will provide all of its information to the authorities.
According to Page Six, the video that ruined Jay-z and Beyonce’s spotless reputation was sold to TMZ for $250,000 after being shopped around for nearly five days to the highest bidder. It is up to you to decide if getting sacked and prosecuted is worth the money!
