The seventh installment in the Star Wars film series, commonly known as Episode VII, is on the way for the winter of 2015. The full length title of the sequel has now been confirmed, so that fans know what to call it.
With the movie done shooting and currently in further development, the news arrived on Twitter yesterday (Nov. 6). The official Star Wars account tweeted that the seventh episode in the saga will be titled Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Check out the tweet for yourself below, which also reveals that the film is done with principal photography.

The film will star Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill, alongside Max von Sydow, Adam Driver, Peter Mayhew, Anthony Daniels, Kenny Baker, John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, and Domhnall Gleeson.
The JJ Abrams-directed Star Wars film is scheduled to open in theaters on December 18, 2015.
