Steven Moffat will not be involved in the new Star Wars movie.
The Moff’s wife, Sue Vertue, has taken to Twitter to address the latest rumour surrounding him- regarding him serving as either a writer or producer on the new film- saying, “Just in case you’ve seen rumours that #stevenmoffat is doing Star Wars – that’s news to him!”

Star Wars website “Jedi Wars” claimed that Moffat would be involved with a Star Wars project, but failed to state whether it would be a movie or another project entirely.
He seems content to stay with Doctor Who for another year at the very least, so it doesn’t look like he’s going to be swapping the TARDIS for the Death Star any time soon.
