Songs In The Key Of Life is Stevie Wonder’s eighteenth studio album and was released back in 1976 as a double disc. After all these years, the iconic singer teamed up with Live Nation to launch an 11-city tour for the record, which will take place this fall.
The singer has revisited his classic tracks several times in the past, and actually not so long ago. The most recent is his performance of the entire record at last year’s concert for holiday benefit, House Full Of Toys, which took place at L.A.’s Nokia Theater.
The upcoming road tour was announced four days ago at the Grammy Museum at L.A. Live and is scheduled to kick off in New York on November 6 and finish on December 5 in Oakland, while the singer will also visit Wahsington, D.C., Philadelphia, Boston and Atlanta. Citi card members will get access to the tickets on September 16 via Citi’s Private Pass Program, while Live Nation will deliver the rest of them a few days later, on September 22.
