Stone Cold Fox Impress At NYC’s Mercury Lounge

NYC-based five-piece Stone Cold Fox are gearing up for their first show of 2016, and we’re throwing it back to their Mercury Lounge performance!

NYC-based five-piece Stone Cold Fox (Kevin Olken Henthorn, Ariel Loh, Aaron Hamel, Graham Stone, and Justin Bright) are gearing up for their first show of 2016, pumped to showcase their mellow, soft indie rock stylings on stage again later this week.

Ahead of that performance, we’re throwing it back to a show at the historic Mercury Lounge earlier this winter, where they performed “Contagion.” Reminiscent of The Killers, SCF have a very laid back sound, sweetened by feel-good rhythms from drums, guitars, and keys.

In this song in particular, the instrumental is almost hypnotizing, led confidently by raw, impressive vocals from lead singer Kevin.

Check out the performance below, and be sure to go and support the band in person later this week if you’re in the New York City area.

You can also watch the official music video for “Contagion” below.

Stone Cold Fox will be at Rough Trade in Brooklyn this Friday night (Jan. 15) with fellow musicians Hey Anna and Birch. For tickets and more info, click here.
