Four London roomies realize that after seeing all the insanity that happens when you all wear your fandom on your sleeve it should be shared with the world. And there is no better way to do that than with a scripted web series.
Yes, it may be scripted but all episodes do have some truth to them.
Writers and creators Michelle Cox and Tanja Hansson have accurately depicted what the average fangirl is feeling at any time and what happens when they let their fangirl fly.
On creating the web series, the girls have said:
“…there is such a negative connotation when people think of fangirls, we wanted to try and change that. We want to show that actually, these fandoms have helped forge some of the strongest friendships. They have even saved lives, there’s so much more to them than the stereotype they are tarnished with.”
Two episode in and I am already hooked! With a great cast featuring Cox and Hansson, as well as Stephanie Cetina and Helen Nye. The series shows a variety of fandoms and makes you laugh and related to the scenarios.
