According to the recent video promo for Season Nine of Supernatural, Sam Winchester, played by Jared Padalecki, will receive a little visit from Death, portrayed by Julian Richings. Does this mean that Sam is going to use another one of his lives up in the new season?
It is also believed that it will be revealed in Season Nine how Sam manages to survive the trials. This season will definitely be an interesting one, especially considering Season Eight ended with the fall of thousands of angels.
If the rumors are true, Felicia Day will also be returning in season 9 as Charlie. According to some sources, Seasons 9 and 10 will end the series for good, hopefully with some ounce of closure to Sam and Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) sad story lines.
