Victoria Justice has been cast in new MTV show from Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke, Eye Candy.
The show follows Lindy (Justice), a college student, who discovers a potential serial killer in Manhattan when she sets up an online dating profile. The former Victorious star calls on some friends to help her capture the dangerous lover, in a kind of Pretty Little Liars meets Catfish drama.
“Victoria Justice is exactly someone we want to be in business with,” MTV programming president Susanne Daniels said. ”Not only does she resonate with our audience, she has a huge fan base and is extremely talented. We are very lucky to have her.”
Eye Candy is based off of the R.L. Stine novel, but does not have a premiere date as of yet.
