‘Flappy Bird’ Creator Dong Nguyen Introduces New Game: ‘Swing Copters’

DDo you remember Flappy Bird and its creator Dong Nguyen?

Well, he announced that he will be releasing a new game called Swing Copters on August 21^st. Once again, the upcoming game is a free download with the option to pay $0.99 (£0.69 in the UK) to remove unwanted ads.

The gameplay is relatively simple: it requires the player to tap the screen to make a character wearing a propeller hat move side to side while avoiding various platforms and hammers. Sounds quite similar to Flappy Bird, right?

In other news, even though Flappy Bird was taken down in February, it did recently come back in the form of multiplayer title called Flappy Birds Family. The game was exclusively launched on Amazon’s set-box platform. Just don’t break your TV, please.
