The countdown is coming to an end for country music’s biggest night and Taylor Swift is already a big winner!
The 23-year-old who’s feelin’ 22 has a total of six nominations for the 2013 Country Music Association Awards, including Entertainer of the Year, an award she has previously won twice. In that category she’s up against Blake Shelton, George Strait, Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan, but if she doesn’t take home that award, she still has the coveted Pinnacle Award.
This year the CMA has decided to present Swift with the special award that recognizes artists who have “achieved worldwide success and recognition that’s unique to country music.” This is quite a rare award, with only one other artist receiving the award in the past – Garth Brooks in 2005.
You can watch Taylor receive her award and perform on the CMA stage this Wednesday November 6th on ABC at 8/7c.
