For those who wanted the one and only computer genius, Cindy “Mac” Mackenzie in the upcoming Veronica Mars Film, Tina Majorino is officially in.

The actress, who is currently playing Dr. Heather Brooks in ABC’s Medical Drama Grey’s Anatomy, has been announced by creator/producer Rob Thomas in an email to Kickstarter contributors this Wednesday.

Thomas said in announcement, “I wrote for Mac for Tinam and Tina only….. Veronica needed a female friend, and a Q to her Bond. Tina felt like just the sort of girl that Veronica would like and respect. I couldn’t be more pleased that she’ll be with us for the movie.”

Veronica Mars fans are beyond excited that Tina Majorino is officially in,  as everyone’s loves Wallace (played by Percy Daggs) but those who watched and remember the show can’t help but love the friendship between Mac and Veronica (Kristen Bell). Plus, like Rob Thomas stated, Mac is the Q to Veronica’s James Bond.
