On January 7, 2015, Super Sunday HQ will release their Super Bowl app. The app allows users attending the Super Bowl XLIX, or just the nightlife, to find Super Bowl festivities, parties, and events. It also lets users “interact with a real-time activity feed that showcases which events are trending, along with the most popular photos and discussion topics.”
The free app will be available to download for Android & iOS users.
The major upside to this app is for the thousands of people who will be coming from out of town. It’s really awkward to be in a new place and have no idea what’s good in the city. One of the worst things that can happen to you on a trip is that you pay a $40 cover to go into a club and it’s dead, except for Honey Boo Boo’s mom. There’s no refund policy in these situations, so you are totally stuck. The social media network embedded in the app allows you to see what people are posting from different party venues, allowing you to eliminate before you commit.
Furthermore, users can plan their week by exploring events and buy tickets through the Super Sunday HQ mobile app. It puts everything that’s happening together. The Super Bowl is the type of event where individuals can easily spend several thousand dollars in a weekend before everything is said and done. If you are dropping that kind of money, you want to make it worth it.
