Model Tess Holliday has revealed she is pregnant again. Tess is the first size 22 model to be signed to a major model agency, and has since become a social media star.
This is the curvy stars’ second child. She has a 10 year old son, Rylee with a previous partner. The 30 year old is currently engaged to Australian, Nick Holliday.
Tess revealed to People magazine that the baby was not planned but she is excited. Due to being 20 at the time of her first pregnancy she says she wasn’t able to enjoy it, as she was so young: “When I had my son, I was 20 and I didn’t know what I was doing and I didn’t have help. I’m really excited to be doing it again and have support, and be able to enjoy having a baby, because I couldn’t last time.”
Tess and her fiancée have been together since 2012 and although Rylee was apprehensive at first, he is now looking forward to being a big brother. They are not wanting to know the sex of the baby and although it being her second child, she is still nervous.
Tess and Rylee are incredibly close despite the fact they no longer have a relationship with his father. We are sure Tess is going to make an amazing mother, again!
In the interview, Tess also talks about the name “plus sized” and how she believes that she is empowering to other women:
I do think it’s very important, especially for young women who are kind of coming into their bodies, and older women who are becoming more OK with their bodies, to have terms for being bigger.
Despite being a size 22, the red-head claims that she is not unhealthy, and her health is nobody else’s business.
