It’s very easy to get carried away during gigs. The adrenaline is pumping, all the energy in the house gets the blood flowing and you’re floating on one of the best legal highs there is. And that’s just the performers. Add in some over excitement at finally seeing your favourite artist live and some people just can’t handle it. At least that’s what you would assume happened at a Beyoncé concert in Copenhagen on 27 May where an over eager fan appeared to slap the “Single Ladies” singer on the bum.
The singer was in the middle of performing “Irreplaceable” where she dances down the ramp and gets members of the audience to sing along with her. After one man has sung and she turns away from him to start walking back, it appears that he hits her. She turns back around and is heard saying, “I will have you escorted out right now, alright?”. Check out some fan footage of the incident below:
The singer is currently on the European leg of her “Mrs Carter Show” playing Stockholm tonight (29 May) and Antwerp on Friday before heading back to the UK for the London Chime For Change ‘Sound Of Change’ concert on 1 June.
