I think we’re all familiar with the hit book series ’50 Shades of Grey’. It’s the erotic series following the love story of Christian Grey- rich, hot guy and Anastasia Steele, 21 year old college student about to graduate with no email address. The ‘Twilight‘ fanfiction turned romance/BDSM novel took the world by storm, as fans revelled in the fantasy, soon even launching films. Just two weeks ago, E L James released ‘Grey‘ the same story you know, already but from Christian’s perspective. Monday, June 29th, author EL James hosted a Twitter #Ask session which went very wrong very quickly. Some fans asked regular questions but others went in for the kill, giving James quite the beating. The Twitter smackdown news quickly went viral as social media sites began posting some of the questions directed to the author and nothing was off limits from grammar to plot line flaws. Read some below:
#AskELJames If he only blacks one of my eyes, does that mean he may not be that into me & I need to try harder?

#AskELJames, I only read the first book and didn't like it. Do you take that negative response to mean YES, please give me more?

I’m pretty sure EL James won’t be doing more twitter Q&As anytime soon. Please, go log into Twitter and just read through the gold that is the #AskELJames hashtag. You won’t be sorry!
