The Marvel/DC battle continues, with DC moving the release date of Batman v Superman to avoid Captain America 3.
Warner Bros. is now releasing Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice on March 25 2016. It was originally set to be released in May 2016 but Marvel announced they intended to release their next Captain America venture on the same date.
Fans of both franchises speculated about whether either studio would budge, but given Marvel’s box office power, it did seem likely that Warner Bros. would rethink their own release date.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier broke box office records in April, but DC is not beaten yet! They have announced their plans to release an additional NINE movies over the next six years! Whilst little to nothing is known about the future movies, it’s clear DC is a serious box office contender.

This rivalry between studios can only mean that both teams will continue to create great content in order to come out on top. That can only be a good thing!
