As a self-proclaimed prude, I’d sworn to myself at an early age that I’d never purchase an alcoholic beverage following my turning 21.
Well, there’s less than a year left until that happens and I’m just now beginning to question my motives. Beer bottles can change the world! In a good way! There’s that, which paired with the fact that Dad can drink the beverage before I use them as instruments, it’s not like I’m wasting anything.
Why would I do this, you may ask?
To play Michael Jackson’s greatest hits, of course! The Bottle Boys actually do this for a living on YouTube, and they’ve recently struck viral gold with their latest beer bottle cover of MJ’s 1983 megahit, “Billie Jean.”
You can catch the performance below. Why haven’t these guys been “found” on such a widespread scale any sooner? This stuff is genuinely great! It just goes to show that anything can be made into an instrument with enough perseverance.
