The cast of Pitch Perfect are going to be releasing a Holiday album according to star, Hana Mae Lee. Lee revealed to MTV that they are in the studio and are recording some very festive tracks for a very special record. She’ll be featured singing a very special song.
The album will also feature some Christmas classics such as “The Christmas Song”, ”Jingle Bells”, “All I Want For Christmas” just to name a few. Lee said she’ll be singing “Silent Night”. She is sure that it will all be recorded acappella, even the percussion.
She said: “It’s going to be nice because it’s all us. The album is going to sound like there’s other things, but it’s all us.”
Universal did confirm a holiday album is in the works, but denied to announce a release date.
They have also given the green light to a Pitch Perfect sequel in May of 2014. Star Rebel Wilson has promised it will be pretty awesome.
