The CW Delays Third Season Of ‘The 100’

With its fall schedule announced, The CW has decided to not premiere the third season of ‘The 100’ before mid-season.

The CW has managed to receive quite some positive feedback for its post-apocalyptic young-adult drama, The 100. As the show managed to make a great impression with its first season and gather a huge fanbase with its second one, the network has now decided to delay its forthcoming, third season.

Even though the second season of The 100 received a fall premiere and the fandom went on strong, the network has decided to keep the series off-air until mid-season. Apparently, they’re bringing it back to the first season’s schedule and so the series is set to premiere sometime in spring 2016. Of course the fans aren’t happy with the decision and are looking for ways to cope with the season delay. After all, the season finale has brought a whole new beginning for Clarke and the rest of the gang and it’s going to be an exciting new era for them.

In other The 100 news, the show is now available on Netflix and you can rewatch the characters’ great adventures. The CW is actually hoping it will boost the live ratings of the show as well, as something similar has happened before with Breaking Bad.
