It’s rumored that Tom Hardy has been approached to play Sir Elton John in the musical biopic Rocketman, about John’s life. John is a executive producer on this film and plans to have his music play as a underscore during sequences.
Sir Elton John described he would like the film to be a kind of “Musical Fantasy” This project was created back in 2011, and James McAvoy was originally rumored to play the part of Sir Elton John.
