With the month of September looming ever so near, Fox and fellow Gleeks are gearing up for an all new season of Glee.
Fox has just released the first promo for its fifth season. With the very sudden and tragic passing of Cory Monteith still fresh in our minds it has been difficult for Gleeks to look forward to the upcoming season.
The promo, titled “Once Again,” does not contain new footage from the upcoming season, but it seems to focus on the previous seasons most heartwarming and exciting moments. It’s upbeat, fun and all-around the essence that is Glee. Though it’s hard not to notice the absence of Finn Hudson.

Creator Ryan Murphy recently explained that the character of Finn Hudson will not die of an overdose in Monteith’s tribute episode.
“This episode is about a celebration of that character’s life. – That might be weird for some people, but it felt really exploitative to do it any other way,” Murphy said.
