Coronation Street actress Georgia May Foote announced to the fans that they can predict much more “friskiness” from her character Katy Armstrong.

Katy just won back her boyfriend Chesney Brown (Sam Aston) but the reconciliation demonstrates that it’s short-lived when it becomes understandable that Chesney took her back for the incorrect reasons.

There is an additional twist to the love triangle story. Chesney decides to compose a go of things with Sinead and Tinker once again, while Katy goes back to her single life.

Regardless of this, Katy should still have some enjoyment and amusement on the boundary as the series executives made a decision to boost her friend Steph Britton who is played by Tisha Merry to a regular character status.

Georgia said to Inside Soap: ”They desired to rattle up Katy and Chesney, so now they are single parents, it’ll be extremely intriguing. I’d like Katy to go off the wall because I never played a character like that. Katy’s friend Steph will be seen in a lot of the upcoming episodes, so assume to see those two getting into a lot of trouble together!”

Katie McGlynn who portrays Sinead has admired the storyline.

McGlynn said: “There’s going to be a lot of enjoyment and bliss with Sinead and Chesney when they actually get together the right way. They are pretty hilarious together because they are like an old married couple. Then there’s Beth and Kirk. They end up going about as a foursome, and there will be lots of giggles. I think the viewers would love seeing them all have a pleasant time together.”
