The Killers To Release ‘Greatest Hits’ Album

The Killers have revealed plans to release a greatest hits album that will be available in time for Christmas.

The album, Direct Hits will be a 15-song compilation album and will feature two brand new songs “Just Another Girl” and “Shot At The Night” which will be released as a single in the run-up to the album release. There will also be deluxe versions of the album, which will include a demo version of “Mr. Brightside” and a Calvin Harris remix of “When You Were Young “.

Band frontman Brandon Flowers, spoke to NME about the album saying,” This record feels like a great way to clean everything up and move onto the next thing,” adding,” I’m really happy with the songs we’ve got to add to the list.”

For there song, “Shot At The Night”, the band got to work with M83’s Anthony Gonzalez, who Flowers says is, ”one of these new skool producers.” Adding,” He’s a technical wizard, but you can’t discount his musicality. A lot of people do, because of the involvement of computers, but he’s a real musician too. He and Stuart Price may be known for working on the digital side of things, but they’re also two of the most musical guys I’ve ever met.”

The Killers new single “Shot At The Night” will be released on November 4^th.

Direct Hits will be released on November 11^th.
