The League is FX(X)’s well-known sitcom about a fantasy football league, following its members during their daily adventures. The show has been renewed for a seventh season by the network, but it seems this one is going to be the last one for it.

Since premiering in 2009, The League kept being renewed for another season year after year. After four successful ones on FX and surviving the move to FXX for the other two, as well as a new one on the way, the series will call it quits right after that. It’s been great up to this point indeed, but all good things eventually come to an end.

The main stars will do anything for winning on the actual television show, but the same can’t be said for their future on the small screen. As it seems with the news being officially announced, the series’ return next year will be the last time we hear of them.

The seventh and final season of The League is expected to start airing in fall 2015 and will consist of 13 episodes.
