A new trailer has landed for the sequel to the 2007 box-office smash 300, 300: Rise of an Empire.

After the death of King Leonidas, man turned God, Xerxes, leads his Persian army to take over all of Greece. Admiral Themistocles of Athens is forced to strike an alliance with the Spartans. Together, the two city-states must battle and defeat Xerxes.
Lena Headey and Rodrigo Santoro will reprise their roles as Queen Gorgo of Sparta and Xerxes, respectively. New comers to the cast include Eva Green, Jack O’Connell, and Hans Matheson.
300: Rise of an Empire will release on March 7.
