The Script Frontman Is A ‘Man On A Wire’ In New Video

The Script are currently touring with their latest studio album, ‘No Sound Without Silence’, but found time to film the music video for “Man On A Wire”.

The Script released their latest studio album, No Sound Without Silence, late last year and are still promoting it, while on the road. The band has now picked “Man On A Wire” as the next offering to be lifted from it and premiered the accompanying music video for it.

Located in Cape Town, South Africa, the Frank Borin-directed visuals find the band making an exquisite declaration of love. Frontman Danny O’Donoghue, is seen walking on a wire in between a couple of tall buildings, while guitarist Mark Sheehan rocks out on the side of a building and drummer Glen Power does his thing on the edge of a roof top. The most frightening thing about it is that they hardly made use of a green screen, as two out of three tasks were really performed and only the gravity-defying one needed some technological assistance. Overall, it’s a really beautiful clip and even though it will keep you worried for the poor guys throughout, salvation will come when love once again conquers all in the end.

“Man On A Wire” is the third single to be lifted from the band’s latest record, No Sound Without Silence, and serves as a follow-up to “Superheroes” and “No Good In Goodbye”. The Script are currently on tour with the album, with concerts scheduled all around the globe, all the way to summer. Check out the new music video below.
