The most intense and heart-pounding of sporting events is taking place on Sunday, February 2…and it features dogs, cats, and penguins. That’s right, it is time for Animal Planet’s annual Puppy Bowl!

Those opting to forgo the Super Bowl are in for a treat, EW recently released the adorable starting lineup:
