Back in the late 1990s, Tim Burton, Kevin Smith, and Nicolas Cage made a little movie.
At least, they tried to.
The flick, Superman Lives, would die before it could hit the big screen. Since then, fans have wondered about the back story of the film and, up until now, they have been disappointed.
A documentary about the film is almost done, but, like the original movie, it is not quite finished. In an effort to raise money to complete the documentary, called The Death of ‘Superman Lives’: What Happened?, the producer/director Jon Schnepp has made the decision to release a full trailer of the film.
This trailer, which can be seen below, features footage from the production of the film, as well as a number of interviews with people who were involved in the film, including Kevin Smith and Tim Burton. Others who can be seen include producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura, associate producer Derek Frey, screenwriter Wesley Strick and costume designer Colleen Atwood.
